Talks and technical workshops

CyberCamp 2016 will offer an ambitious programme with plenty of talks, exhibitions, technical workshops, etc. As in past editions, topics and speakers chosen for this event intend to discuss current topics of general interest, which will be presented in such an appealing manner that you will be hanging on to their every word to hear all the facts and observations.

All talks and technical workshops will be conducted at the Auditorio Ciudad de León and will include a Spanish into English simultaneous interpreting service so language barriers will not be a problem.

These talks will undoubtedly be complemented by the questions posed by the audience during the question time. The possibility of having experts in the field solve your doubts will appeal to even the most anxious attendees.

Call For Papers (CFP)

As we prepared the conference and technical workshop programme for this year, we announced our Call For Papers, as in previous years. We know that there is much talent out there and we want to keep endorsing the proposals of those who have something to say about any of the multiple fields comprised in cybersecurity. The CFP was open for the whole community, offering the possibility to participate in CyberCamp 2016 as a speaker and give a practical workshop or presentation.

Two different modalities were offered so the one that best fit the proposal could be applied. Said modalities were:

  • 50-minute talks or presentations
  • 110-minute technical, practical workshops in the form of master classes.

Many proposals were received during the three months that the CFP remained open. After analysing all of them, we selected a total of 14, some of which will be the talks given at the Auditorium.
