CyberCamp is the major cybersecurity event that INCIBE organises with the aim of identifying, attracting, managing, and, in short, helping to generate cybersecurity talent that can be transferred to the private sector, in line with its demands.
This initiative is one of the missions that the Trust in the Digital Sphere Plan, included within Spain’s Digital Agenda, is entrusting to INCIBE. As such, within Axis V, which is known as the Excellence in Cybersecurity Programme, this strategic framework includes measure 24, which provides for the holding of a major cybersecurity in which the best pupils of cybersecurity training programmes in Spain participate, as well as the best international talent, with a schedule that includes two editions, one in 2014 and the other in 2015.
CyberCamp 2015 will take place on 27, 28 and 29 November 2015 in the facilities of the Barclaycard Center of the Community of Madrid and will have three main objectives:
- Identifying professional careers for young talent.
- Involving families, through cybersecurity awareness-raising and outreach activities for parents, teachers, and children.
- Detecting and promoting cybersecurity talent through workshops and technical challenges.
Over the four days of the event, people will enjoy educational and fun activities related to the world of cybersecurity, and will attend lectures and workshops given by important figures and experts of the cybersecurity community. Likewise, the companies and organisations most representative of the world of cybersecurity and communication networks will provide activities aimed at promoting interest in studies, professional specialisation, and entrepreneurship in the sphere of cybersecurity.
Cybercamp is a free event, only have to fill a register form to generate a ticket to participate in our activities. This registration will remain open throughout the event including the ability to register in person.
