Individual Cybersecurity Challenges

To identify the new talents in the field of Cybersecurity, we are creating a wide range of “security challenges” that you will be able to solve in order to find out what your passion is.

The topics that have been selected for the challenges are:

  • Reverse engineering
  • Exploiting
  • Forensic analysis
  • Web vulnerabilities
  • Cryptography

Competition

The individual challenges will happen in two stages: qualifying and a final held in-person.

The rules are avalaible in the Participation rules page.

Qualifying stages

Throughout the qualifying stages the participant is able to resolve the tests right from home. For these stages there were two rounds.

  • First round: The first round was available starting July 17th until July 26th, both inclusive.

  • Second round: The second round was available starting October 6th until October 15th, both inclusive.

Final Stage

The final stage will take place at the CyberCamp 2015 event itself, specifically on Saturday, November 28th. In this final stage, the 40 top-placed participants from the two qualifying rounds participate. In this stage, the challenge will involve a real-life situation during which participants will put their skills to the test.
